WHY WOODLAND CAMPING?
A unique opportunity to be immersed in nature & wake up amongst the trees. We are visitors in a delicate ecosystem that many birds, insects & mammals call home.
To preserve the tranquility and protect our wild neighbours:
Please respect your fellow campers, we wish the campsite to be a friendly environment for all.
LEAVE NO TRACE: We operate a strict "pack it in, pack it out" policy. Every scrap of litter no matter how small must be removed so the woodland floor remains as you found it. This includes food waste, whilst this may biodegrade, the wildlife onsite do not need the extra snacks & no camper would want to arrive to their clearing in the woods to discover the previous guests litter.
RESPECTING THE WOODLAND: Please ensure both you & your children respect the plants, trees & wildlife on site. Please do not damage our plants & trees, they are what make our unique space so special. Log piles & brush piles are created to offer habitats for many species of wildlife please leave these undisturbed.
OUR GOAL: To leave the woods better than we found them, ensuring that the only thing you take away are memories, and the only thing you leave behind are footsteps.
