​Just a 10 minute drive away is Canoe Wild is one of the most popular local activities for campers. They operate primarily on the River Stour, offering everything from canoe, kayak & paddle board hire to guided beaver spotting tours, sunrise & sunset paddles & sea kayaking seal spotting adventures. Also offering group & private lessons for all activities, it is a great opportunity for beginners to take to the water.  Canoe Wild is a popular attraction so always advisable to book in advance.

Betteshanger Country Park

Just 15 minutes drive from us we have Betteshanger Country Park. A fantastic spot to go cycling or walking with the family,  play it safe and stick to the tarmac track or get off road through their woodland tracks, various levels of difficulty, all marked for you to choose, so a track to suit everyone.  Bikes are available to hire or you can bring your own! Entry is free, as is use of their massive outdoor play area. Alongside the cycling they also have a range of bookable paid activities-fossil hunting, goat walking, target archery & axe throwing. A large cafe available onsite also.  Check online for various events they have on throughout the summer.

Felderland Farm PYO

​Felderland PYO Farm is lucky enough to be situated in the Garden of England, making it the perfect Kentish activity & a favourite for locals to enjoy a great family day out. Tucked in-between Sandwich and Deal's picturesque coastal towns, Felderland Farm is one of the largest Pick Your Own farms in Kent.

The Aqua Park at White Mills, fun for all aged 6 & over great for groups of all sizes & ages it is the inflatable water activity of dreams. Alongside this they offer wake boarding on their purpose built lake, perfect for all skill levels, from absolute beginners to world-class wake boarders. Also available-Open water swimming sessions, sauna, cold plunge & on site restaurant.

Dreamland Margate

For a unique taste of the Kent coast, a visit to Dreamland Margate is an absolute must. More than just a theme park, it is a beautifully restored piece of British vintage seaside nostalgia. Located just a five-minute walk from the train station and directly across from the beach, the park is free to enter, allowing you to wander through and soak up the atmosphere at your own pace. You can marvel at the Scenic Railway—the UK’s oldest wooden rollercoaster—or explore the vibrant, pastel-hued grounds filled with art installations. Pop on your skates & head into the roller disco & amusements or head outside for the big wheel there is plenty of fun to be had.
